"Taylor and I finished the class and although I learned primarily for teaching it to her, my boys are picking it up so quickly. I read stories to them and we sign together and I can communicate with them when I want them to do specific things when we can't speak and they completely understand and respond! It's a great bonding experience for all of us! Even dad is picking up a few signs here and there.

I highly recommend this class because the signs you learn are for words that you would normally teach to your child and read to them from books anyway! Nothing unusual and out of the ordinary. Very easy to pick up and use in everyday/every minute situations."

"I started teaching our daughter American Sign Language as soon as she could focus her eyes with mine - quite young. No, she didn't pick it up before she was 10-months-old but she was 'getting' that she was being shown a second language. She'll be three in August and absolutely loves to sign and talk. Sometimes, she'll pick up a signing book, sit down with it and say, 'Show me, Mommy.' It's also great in public or in Mom's Day Out. I'll sign across the room if she's not listening to me, and she almost listens more when I sign in those types of situations.
