Explore the fascination of using sign language vocabulary with your children as an early mode of communication in an interactive workshop. With an open forum atmosphere, learn how and when to start signing with your child. Discover the advantages and benefits that sign language communication can have before your children can speak, as well as the advantages and benefits of continuing sign language education as your child grows beyond the point of speech. Methods and techniques on incorporating sign language vocabulary into everyday family activities will be discussed, and participants will become comfortable using sign language vocabulary in an interactive sign and story time.
